without worrying about the consequences,there's a few people dealing with consequence's right now. I kinda figured the olympics would bring some lasting problems for whistler, this one is a pretty wild story if you haven't heard. there's several different takes on the story but it's been front page just about everyday for a week or two.. (this is really the biggest worry in the world right now?) there's a bunch of different versions of the story if you're so inclined, here. I"m mostly curious as to how stupid you would have to be to try and kill 100 dogs in front of each other and have it go any sort of smooth. All in the technique i guess.

5000 miles and no tickets...sweet..good drive back, a fox, a coyote a moose and some deer all stayed the fuck out of the way. vortex. checked out the forks in winnipeg for a quick morning session, and millennium for a few hours, then off to a radio tower for a jump and then driving (the fucking long way at 3 a.m., fuck) for a weekend in canmore. good times with some gnarly dudes, sebastian the sasquatch from france and roberto the colombian and alistair from calgary and aaron, i dunno where your from..dirty old bastard...and then theres randy... advice to any base jumpers out there, you weigh more then shit tickets.. really glad you're still here dude.

speaking of drives, luke and chester made it out of america alive.. whilst finding out the ford can be used as a monster truck. luke's amazing driving streak of shitluck in the states continues.

and we're off to see bob wayne next week? fuck maybe big john should drive..

worth of driving to calgary, should be a blast... almost got things set up at pik's... wish i coulda got started sooner.. oh well, more to come for that spot in the spring anyways i thinks...changed it around a little for time sakes,putting a dirt quarter at the end and just lap the first two jumps back and forth, hopefully little b-man doesn't wipe out super hard and it get's torn down by mum..and hopefully he'll get to ride it before it snows..

if you build it

kids will run all over it...started a little project whilst i'm hangin in ontario.. should be pretty sweet, got a good sized chunk of yard to play with, a shit ton of rocks from the beach,( "what'd you do on saturday?" "oh ya know, we drank some pints and picked some rocks eh.") a few logs, and a couple berms already shaping up.. hopefully some clay thursday night so we can barrow it into place and get it shaped up this weekend before i start to head back...

so where the b-man is going mental will be raised up for the starting gate area, maybe i'll get a gate on it next summer,


come down the roll in and pump through two rollers, and then two small racer tables..



into the corner we filled with rocks and some shit dirt, a berm to the right hopefully a small roller to pump out of it heading into the next corner..

from the back of the berm, into two rollers that should be doublable...




a split on this tree after the double rollers, hopefully a berm between the trees, 180 style back into the second table and first berm, to the left of the tree to a decent jumper to ender... and then maybe next spring/summer into a four pack past the start for a couple trickers...we'll see if any little kiddies wreck themselves and i have angry mom's screamin at me...





now if i could just get my dirt dropped off....

in sadder news, the samsquantch fellers gotta start over, i'll have a cold crystal (prime time ontario beers) in honour..fuckin way she goes...
